Monster hunter wilds

- 2024년 학술 프로젝트
- 브랜드 디자인 프로젝트

This project is a rebranding motion graphic that visually reinterprets the core theme of Monster Hunter Wiles, the enormous and untamed Mother Nature, and the struggle for survival in it. Taking Mother Nature's overwhelming scale and the tense tension of hunting as the main keywords, the intense color contrast of deep-sea navy, blood-crimson red, and dry sand cream is set as casting colors. In addition, analog textures such as scattered dust and rough stratum are added, and heavy "Aquavit" and "Calgary Script OT" typeface that give a raw feeling are mixed and matched to create a game-specific primary and grand visual identity.

30 sec trailer

Focuses on'scale and tension.' The commercial immediately grabs attention with a high-impact opening motion of a bullet piercing through darkness. Bold copy like "THE HUNT BEGINS" and "SURVIVE THE WILDS" is gradually revealed, seamlessly blending into the environmental backdrop. By cross- cutting between characters (such as Palico and Gemma) and majestic landscapes, it establishes the epic scale of the narrative.

SNS Reels

Tailored for short-form content, this focuses on' speed and impact. It utilizes rough mask transitions that mimic the claw marks of a wild beast, along with a binocular viewfinder effect. This creates a highly immersive experience, making viewers feel as though they are personally observing and exploring the wilderness.

Seasonal trailer

Showcases the scalability and flexibility of the rebranded system. While keeping the core layout and typography systems intact, the color palette is inverted to a striking neon purple and orange to fit the seasonal theme. Dripping ink/slime animations that wash over the screen, dynamically paired with silhouettes of pumpkins and bats, create a spooky yet hype-building seasonal teaser.
